UWB - an operator's view

Session
Thursday, 20 April 2006
00:00
Duration: 27 mins
Publication date: 20 Apr 2006
Location: IETTV_Room, IETTV_Venue, London, United Kingdom
Part of event IET Seminar on Ultra Wideband Systems, Technologies and Applications

About the session

The following topics are discussed: the operator's fears and desires (why is UWB potentially harmful but also potentially very useful to operators?); standardisation (why would an operator be active in UWB standardisation committees?); and implementation (are practical UWB implementations really that easy and do they hold what they promise?)
