Join us as we delve into Georgina's inspiring journey, from her roots in the close-knit community of Huntley to her pivotal role in shaping Scotland's infrastructure.

Georgina's expertise lies in the structures team at Amey Consulting, where she spearheads projects ranging from structural maintenance to major road bridges. Her dedication to providing sustainable engineering solutions not only enhances safety but also fosters connectivity and journey time reliability across some of Scotland's busiest roads.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Georgina is a passionate STEM ambassador, actively involved in outreach programmes aimed at inspiring the next generation of engineers. Her commitment extends to mentoring aspiring engineers through the Arkwright Engineering Scholarship, furthering diversity and inclusivity in the field.

In her own words, Georgina reflects on her journey, highlighting the pivotal moment when she discovered the myriad opportunities for females in engineering through the AR right engineering scholarship scheme.     Georgina Andrew is a Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice at Amey Consulting. Georgina works within the structures team as a designer for projects covering structural maintenance to major road bridges. She is responsible for providing sustainable engineering solutions that promote safety, journey time reliability and connectivity between areas, improving some of Scotland’s busiest roads.As a STEM ambassador, Georgina has been involved in numerous STEM outreach and early careers initiatives, promoting engineering careers to the younger generation. She is also an Arkwright Engineering Scholarship mentor on behalf of the Smallpeice Trust.
