Abstract
The IET’s #SantaLovesSTEM festive video and STEM competition is back. This year we are bringing you an inspirational video of how science, engineering, technology and maths (STEM) plays a big part in making a difference to a young musician.
The animation tells the story of a young girl who will be taking part in her school Christmas concert – but her acoustic guitar isn’t working. Her Dad tries to help by finding an old amp from the loft – but it needs fixing. The young girl is inspired to fix it and after tinkering with it, she gets it working and the concert is a huge success.
There’s an engineer in each of us, whether you are a fixer, maker or creator, all you need is imagination.
We hope you’re inspired by this short film. Please share it with your friends and children to help spread the word that #SantaLovesSTEM.
