About the session

The presentation will outline the whole-system considerations of introducing fleets of hydrogen-powered trains into passenger service on the UK rail network and their roles within a decarbonised railway.  It will also describe the key features of the new Aventra hydrogen multiple units being developed by Alstom and Eversholt Rail and the opportunities that this will provide to a wide range of stakeholders.
