There are many issues related to health care infrastructure within the UK, including the lack of integration of data between the different parts of the health and social care system, and around an aging population. This presentation focuses on: looking at a new Cloud-based e-Health platform - a patient-centric infrastructure which integrates new security models for primary and secondary health care, along with assisted living; exploring the Cloud4Health dynamic infrastructure and its service-oriented architecture to deliver key clinical services such as EWS (Early Warning Score); delivering an open platform for data acquisition, data storage and service provision with security integrated into every element of the infrastructure; and broader applications for this architecture across education and law enforcement, in order to create holistic care.
