Abstract
Cambridge Wireless proudly presents the fifth event in its Prestigious Lecture Series in Association with the IET and taking place at Taylor Wessing's London offices. We are delighted to announce Aidan Quilligan Global Managing Director at Accenture Industrial Software Solutions (AISS) as the evening's speaker. Aidan will talk to the topic, 'The Fourth Industrial Revolution - when Digital Technology meets the Shop Floor', addressing technology that over the last three centuries, has revolutionised both the way companies run their businesses, and the way they interact with their customers. Progressively the advent of steam, then electricity and ultimately automation has transformed how industrial companies operate. In the meantime, and largely independently, the customer interface has progressed from mail, to the telephone, to the World Wide Web. His talk will expand upon how those two paths are now coming together with profound opportunities for the future of industry and the way we do business.
