    BT, Principal Network Architect

    Andy Sutton is responsible for aspects of 4G LTE and 5G network strategy, architecture and design with a focus on radio access networks and mobile xhaul. Andy also works on end to end topics including edge computing and low latency network design. Andy holds an MSc in mobile communications from the University of Salford, is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the IET, BCS and ITP. Andy holds the post of Visiting Professor at the University of Liverpool and University of Salford and has co-authored four books on telecoms related topics, a fifth book, on 5G mobile backhaul and fronthaul is due to be published this year.
