About the session

We realize the step-index profile multi-core fibre (SI-MCF) with standard cladding which has fully compatible properties with SMF. Experimental results indicate full-band applicability of SI-MCF to >1 Tbit/s transmission with both parallel transmission and coherent transmission over several-tens km at 1260-1612 nm wavelength region.
