SSCS 2018 Conference Highlights

Cyber threat from criminally driven hackers pales into insignificance when compared with nation-state actors trying to penetrate UK’s national critical infrastructure, potentially causing harm on a large scale. The opening keynotes for the System Safety and Cyber Security conference (IET London Savoy Place, 30-31 October 2018) as well as following discussions provided important clues for what to expect, how to prepare and why security has never been more crucial for our safety.  SSCS is the largest conference for system safety specialists held in the UK; and the only conference where both safety and security engineers from around the world can meet and share ideas, new research and network.
