AMY Robotics is making an appearance at China-Britain AI Summit, London, September 2017. AMY Robotics is a robotics company based in Hangzhou, China with regional branches across the globe and R & D centres in China and the US. Founded in 2015 by a group of engineers and designers, it aims to use cutting edge technology to improve quality of life through autono-mous service robots which can be deployed for both personal use and in a di-verse range of fields such as healthcare, education, finance, public service and retail. Focusing on innovation, research and development and manufacturing AMY Robotics also provides customised robots and on-demand services. AMY Robotics first generation robots are AMY A1, an autonomous personal service robot which was first presented at the CES trade show in Las Vegas in 2017 and the AMY M1 is a more customised commercial robot. Both the A1 and M1 are easy to use and have a number of sophisticated features powered by AI technology including multi-lingual speech interaction through natural language processing software, sophisticated social interaction and facial recognition, autonomous navigation, home automation, entertainment provision, cloud computing, pattern recognition, intelligent assistance, telepresence and con-nection to third-party APIs. AMY robots can also sing and dance! In June of this year an AMY robot was hired by Hangzhou Inter-national Airport to provide assistance to passengers in both Mandarin and English.
