This presentation discusses the following topics: the progression from concepts to real-world demonstrations of pre-commercial prototypes by leading groups worldwide; insights from testing and trialling SDR, CR and DSA technologies, focusing on Comreg (Ireland) and NTIA & FCC (US) wireless test and trial opportunities; and approaches including applying SDR, CR and DSA to existing problems and the search for new application areas.
