About the session

The technical talks will centre on:   

Innovative AHT devices and technologies, mhealth, ehealth, AI, medical laboratory technology, Hospital Technology Management (HTM), training, alternative energy sources, medical informatics, sustainability, appropriate equipment donations, appropriate patient transport to hospitals and health centres from remote areas, links between healthcare facilities in industrialised countries and low resource settings.

    Thomas is a final-year PhD student and holder of the Bellhouse scholarship in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford. His research is on novel analysis techniques for MRI data to improve the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Within the OxVent team, he was lead system integration engineer and also managed data analysis for system calibration and verification testing.
