About the session
Sports engineering and technology is used in sport to improve performance, either for the casual user or for elite athletes, but how do you know that any technological improvement in sports equipment actually makes a difference? Or is it all hype? This lecture tells you how sport is analysed and measured and how the information is used to make predictions on future performance, using both popular and some of the UK's less recognised sports.
