The presentation will provide a discussion of inductive wireless technology and an overview of WiCET. This consortium project led by Cenex demonstrated nine wirelessly charging electric taxis in Nottingham. The results of the real-world trial will be reviewed, highlighting learnings, technological benefits and issues, and opportunities to address identified barriers to wider adoption.
