About the session
The aim of this conference is to explore impact of new technologies, for example in the fields of devices, data management, imagining and informatics, on the delivery of health care and to explore the impact of probable future technological developments on the delivery on health care over the next 10 years.
Objectives:
Understand some of the principal technological advances likely to affect the delivery of health care by 2027.
Recognise the potential impact of these changes on patient outcomes and cost effectiveness.
Consider the planning required if health care delivery is going to adapt and embrace these changes.
Consider the impact of such advances on staff and the implications for education, training and staff development.
Understand the information needed to be able to make a strong business case for the investment in resources needed to be able support integrations of these advances.
