Abstract
Michele Fiorini is a principal engineer at Leonardo S.p.A. in Rome, where he provides technical and management leadership in maritime surveillance systems for civil and military applications. He has edited two books with the IET and is series editor for the IET Transportation book series.
In this interview he discusses the impact digitalisation is having on the maritime industry, the importance of decarbonisation, and his experience editing engineering books with the IET.
