Simon Fawcett is the Director of Pera Technology’s operations function. Pera Technology is a leading new product development contractor, that helps companies of all sizes conceive, create and commercialise their innovative new products and processes. Having graduated from UMIST with honours in Mechanical Engineering, Simon possesses in-depth technical and commercial knowledge, complemented with a 20 year career at Pera Technology. He has vast experience in project management and has managed the delivery of over 140 collaborative R&D projects, which were funded under European Framework Programme 4 up to the current Horizon 2020 programme. He is a dedicated and motivational leader who provides today’s researchers and manufacturing industry with strategies for implementing operational and quality systems within their companies.
