    EEF (Engineering Employers' Federation), Climate, Energy and Environment Team, Senior Energy and Environmental Policy Advisor

    Richard joined the Climate, Energy and Environment Team at EEF in December 2013 with a primary focus on UK energy and climate change policy. Since joining EEF, Richard took a leading role in EEF's 2014 Budget campaign that saw the securing of a significantly expanded compensation package for Energy Intensive Industry as well as the widely published Carbon Price Support freeze.Prior to moving to EEF Richard worked for a number of years in the food and drink sector covering a range of environmental and sustainability issues including the management of the dairy sector's climate change agreement and the management and implementation of the sector's voluntary sustainability initiative, the Dairy Roadmap. Prior to working in industry Richard worked as an adviser to a number of local politicians.
