About the session

This session examines the growing cyber risk to Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS), driven by geopolitical tensions and the convergence of IT and OT environments. We’ll explore the evolution of ICS-specific malware, including the recent Fuxnet incident, and how attackers exploit trusted channels such as files and data flows to infiltrate critical systems. Finally, we’ll discuss practical strategies for reducing these risks and strengthening resilience across industrial environments.
