Zoe McLeod

Cadent - Customer Panel, Associate, Sustainability First and Chair

Zoe McLeod is a consumer policy and regulatory expert with a particular focus on energy, water, innovation and consumer vulnerability issues. She is the independent Chair of both South East Water's Customer Challenge Group and Cadent Gas' Customer Engagement Group, and a member of National Grid's User Group. She is also an Associate with the think tank and charity Sustainability First, and a Director of the consultancies Vulnerability Solutions and the Consumer Watchdog, and a lay member on the Bar Standards Board.Zoe has more than 15 years’ experience as a consumer and community champion, including with Citizens Advice, Ofgem, National Energy Action and Friends of the Earth. Her experience includes as a member of Ofwat’s Expert Advisory Panel; a Director representing consumer interests for Smart Energy GB and a representative on the Fuel Poverty Advisory Group for England among other roles. She was also Assistant Cabinet Member for Young People and Youth Services and an elected Councillor for Richmond upon Thames Council.
