Laura Cohen was appointed Chief Executive of the British Ceramic Confederation in 2009.The British Ceramic Confederation is the trade association for the UK Ceramic Manufacturing Industry, representing the common and collective interests of all sectors of the Industry. Its 100 member companies cover the full spectrum of materials and plant and machinery, and comprise over 90 percent of the Industry's manufacturing capacity.Laura is a member of the CBI Trade Association Council, Energy Intensive Users Group, the UK Business Energy Forum and is a member of Cerame-Unie (European Trade Association) Directors' and Chair of their Environmental committee. She is a life member of the Council of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce.
