About the session
We all remember watching the television news and being horrified by pictures of suffering and devastation caused by such natural disasters as the tsunami in Asia or the earthquake in Pakistan. Professional engineers have a vital role to play in helping countries to recover from these terrible events. RedR-IHE (Registered Engineers for Disaster Relief - International Health Exchange) is an international humanitarian relief organisation that provides recruitment, training and support services for aid agencies throughout the world.
