    UK Power Network, Low Carbon Project Manager

    Lynne completed her education at the University of Strathclyde where she graduated with MEng degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. She holds the position of Low Carbon Project Manager within UK Power Networks' Future Networks Department. She is currently leading one of our next Tier 2 bids on Vulnerable customers and energy efficiency (V-CEE), which will investigate how DNOs can engage with fuel poor and vulnerable customers within a novel end-to-end system partnership to trial technologies from simple time switches to smart meters in order to facilitate energy efficiency and provide network services, such as, DSR.Previously, she had the role of Technical Communications Workstream Manager for the 10million pound flagship project – Flexible Plug and Play Low Carbon Networks – which aims to trial innovative technical and commercial solutions in order to provide cheaper and faster connection of renewable generation to the distribution network.

    Dr Simon Dunkley

    Silver, European and Technical Regulatory Director

    Dr Simon Dunkley is a Director of Solutions Architecture working in Silver Spring Networks' European operation. He is has a wide remit, working with European regulators and industry to develop smart metering/ smart grid applications and legislation, as well as directing projects within Europe. He has 20 years' experience working in communications around the world having previously worked for Plessey Microsystems and Nortel Telecommunications and as a consultant with UK-based Detica Ltd.
