We demonstrate for the first time the feasibility of spatial channel networking including spatial bypassing spectral grooming spatial-lane change and spatial-channel protection over a spatial channel network testbed that comprises two types of low-loss space/wavelength-hierarchical optical cross-connect prototypes connected with four-core fibers.
