    Inmarsat Global Government, Vice President, Strategic Programmes

    Nick is a member of the leadership team within Inmarsat’s Global Government business unit, which provides resilient and robust satellite communications services to support the missions of many governments around the world, including all “5-Eyes” and NATO nations. At Inmarsat, Nick is Vice President responsible for engagement with senior government customers around the world and the delivery of government strategic programmes.Nick has led a distinguished career of over 25 years in the UK and European space sector in leading roles including on various Inmarsat programmes, the UK MOD SKYNET military satcom system, and the European Galileo satnav programme.In July 2020, Nick was appointed Chair of UKspace, the trade association representing the British space industry. In this role, he works across government, industry, academia, and with other international space agencies to promote the UK space sector.Nick holds a Masters in Satellite Communications from the University of London and an MBA from the Open University. He has published several papers on security and resilience in satellite communications networks at international conferences. He is a Council member of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
