    Mr. Viorel BARBU has been working for the Defence Ministry for over 25 years, during which he has gone through all stages of his military career. During this period he participated in missions abroad in all theaters of operations in which Romania has deployed troops.Currently, he is working in a department that provides the support and expertise necessary for the decision making by the MoD leadership and assists the MoD structures in the continuation of the process of transformation of the Romanian Armed Forces, the strengthening of the NATO membership status and the participation in the military dimension of The EU Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP).
