About the session
The Satellite Applications Catapult demonstrated seamless vehicular connectivity across terrestrial and satellite communications. The demonstration include how satellite and cellular networks can be utilised for ambulance and police Emergency/Assistance.
The main theme of the ITS Glasgow Congress was ‘Delivering Future Cities Now’. The ITS demonstrations at Glasgow highlighted the successful implementations of ITS throughout Europe, with focus on the use of data from a variety of sources to provide a more informed and integrated choice to the travelling public. The demonstrations emphasised proven deployed ITS solutions and innovative research and development systems. The IET was busy filming at the ITS European Congress in Glasgow in order to bring you the latest Intelligent Transport solutions being trialled on our streets.
