About the session

This presentation deals with the electromagnetic-structural-acoustic coupled analysis using the finite element method (FEM) to predict the acoustic noise level of an OIS (optical image stabiliser) VCM (voice coil motor). Using the analysis method, the cover structure of the VCM is re-designed to reduce acoustical noise. The validity of the analysis method is verified by comparison with the measurement of a prototype.
