About the session

The IET Achievement Awards Ceremony was held on Wednesday, 16 November 2016 at the Brewery, Chiswell Street, London. We announced the winners of our prestigious awards including the Faraday Medal and the Apprentice and Technician of the Year Awards and the winner of the Present around the World (PATW) Competition 2016 .

Shramona Chakraborty

Computer Science Engineer

Shramona Chakraborty is a final year Computer Science & Engineering student from MCKV Institute of Engineering, India whose research interest lies in computing, coding etc. She has authored three publications in International Journal and Conference papers and has also been awarded best paper at a number of International conferences. She was recently awarded the Best Project Award at National Science and Engineering Fair 2016 for her innovation with the Wheelchair on Power. Recently she has completed a summer internship with Tata Consultancy Services and has worked as part of R&D team for an American based Start-up Company.Shramona takes part in various extra-curricular activities including dance which she is passionate about. She has won awards and performed in various prestigious cultural programs. She hopes to obtain her Doctoral degree from reputed Universities of International importance and to give more innovative projects to society.
