Abstract
FIRST LEGO League Discover is a global STEM (that’s science technology engineering and maths) programme for children and young people aged 4-6. The IET are proud to be the delivery partners for FIRST LEGO League in the UK and Ireland, because FIRST LEGO League is the perfect programme to start young people thinking about engineering as a potential career path.
FIRST LEGO League Discover develops more than just STEM skills – it supports key habits of learning, such as teamwork, communication and persistence, all whilst learning through play and linking these experiences to real-world contexts.
