Welcome and introduction to metamaterials

This presentation is a welcome to the Technical Workshop on Microwave Metamaterials and their Applications, which was organized by the IET Professional Networks "RF and Microwave Technology", "Antennas and Propagation" and "Radar, Sonar and Navigation". The purpose of the workshop was to enable research students, young researchers and young professionals to interact with relevant industries and experts, including Yang Hao from Queen Mary University and David Daniels from Cobham Technical Services. The presentation includes an introduction to meta-materials.
