The standard value stream map is not giving the complete information in a jobshop environment to reflect on and to work on to make better processes and better working system. So to improve the validity of the of the map within the jobshop environment modifications are made by drawing an improved map considering the product groups, average product family customer demand and the information flow data which will help to generate a meaningful future state map.
