Abstract
Travel is an essential feature of our society. We travel to work, to school, to the shops, to visit relatives or even on holiday. Most often we travel by car, but increasingly people are switching to trains for long journeys or commuting to work. So, how can we ensure that the people travelling know where they need to be, or when the next train will arrive?
This video is part of the IET Faraday's teaching resources developed in September 2015 as part of the BBC micro:bit programme and looks into how the BBC micro:bit can be used to control the transport displays within train stations to ensure commuters have the latest information and can get to their destination in the most effective way possible.
