London Underground & London Rail, Managing Director
Mike Brown was born and brought up in Belfast. He attended Queen's University where he graduated with an Economics degree and an MBA. After a spell in the food industry, he joined London Underground in December 1989 working in various operational management roles before becoming Chief Operating Officer in July 2003. He was in this role until leaving in 2008 to run Heathrow Airport for BAA. In March 2010 Mike re-joined London Underground as Managing Director. Married with a 7 year old son, Mike lives in Wimbledon and uses the District line every day.
