About the session

The Cyber Defence and Security seminar addressing key cyber challenges for the military and defence industry as well as considering mitigation against cyber-attacks on the Critical National Infrastructure took place on 12 October 2016 at IET London: Savoy Place.

Sessions in 2016 included topics on integrating safety and cyber security, legal and moral issues, implementing and adopting security approaches, system safety, software safety and challenges with supply chain.

A Panel discussion on the future of UK’s National Cyber Security Strategy included thought leaders from the government (NCSC/GSHQ), academia and leading technology companies such as Intel Security and QinetiQ.
