Abstract
The current wave of new reactor designs and progress in the decommissioning arena is creating a period of virtually unprecedented growth in the nuclear sector in the UK. In some areas this means newly formed companies are bringing international designs to the UK and even established players are being challenged by new ways of working being adopted by new entrants. In this talk David will refer to his experience of working with many of the companies adapting to this challenge and explain how a new approach to the control of design and engineering is evolving in the UK.
