Abstract
Summary of the challenge:
To create an on board device, which can accurately and actively gauge the load weight in a Toyota Land Cruiser or similar vehicle. This device will enable the driver to visually identify when the vehicle is safely loaded and alert the driver if the vehicle is overloaded.
AMELIA, a technology focused solution to the problem of accurately monitoring the weight of road vehicles for humanitarian organisations. The system offers a solution that accurately, reliably and conveniently gauges the weight of a land cruiser or similar vehicle and alerts the driver to the condition where the vehicle is overloaded.
