About the session
Demand response, electrical vehicles, renewable energy integration, smart metering... Scottish and Southern Energy Power Distribution (SSEPD), as the network operator for the South of England, is having to respond to the connection of all these technologies, meeting the challenges of an increased peak load and effectively managing the transition into the future low-carbon era. The speakers explain what is being done by SSEPD and their project partners (including General Electric and Honeywell) and what has been tried out in the Bracknell area to deal with these issues.
