    Peter Wall

    University of Manchester

Peter Wall graduated from The University of Manchester with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (2008), a Master’s degree in Power Systems (2009) and a PhD in Power Systems (2013). After his PhD on predicting the post disturbance frequency behaviour of power systems he spent one year working on a proof of principle project related to intelligent controlled islanding methods. He is still a post-doctoral research associate at The University of Manchester and is currently working on the industry led, NIC funded VISOR project, which is demonstrating innovative applications of WAMS in the GB transmission system. His main area of interest is frequency stability, intelligent controlled islanding and applications of wide area monitoring to power systems.
