About the session
As one of the World’s Megacities London has many challenges to overcome in transport, energy and water management. Other cities in the UK are also pursuing their own smart city experience for their citizens. Different cities seek to embed their culture in their approaches to the technology enabled city, but do all these initiatives lead to fragmentation and ultimately stall the demand for technologies? How can UK cities and companies that invest in the UK benefit from activities happening in the UK and leverage the global network of connections to cities to create competitive product and service platforms. We will also explore how smart city initiatives around the globe have and are creating smart citizens.
