Software simulations using LabVIEW are effective ways to quickly prototype control systems that include hardware integration. This presentation explains how to combine an mbed microcontroller with LabVIEW tools to provide a simple and low-cost method to make LabVIEW programs interact with the real world. It also explores the LabVIEW Embedded Module for ARM Microcontrollers for developing prototypes running on Cortex-M3 microcontrollers.
