Mott Macdonald, Principal Traction Power Engineer
SARAH is a Principal Traction Power Engineer with Mott MacDonald Ltd and has been with the company 15 years; she was seconded to the Crossrail Ltd (CRL) Chief Engineers Group (CEG) 2020 – 2021. Her role on secondment was to provide principal engineer level technical support and assurance for the CEG electrical team primarily on Earthing & Bonding; she was responsible for the production and management of the Earthing and Bonding Safety Justification. Sarah started work in the railway industry on London Underground’s undergraduate sponsorship scheme 30 years ago, eventually moving on to new pastures with Balfour Beatty then Mowlem’s before joining Mott MacDonald Ltd. Past projects include: Northern Line Upgrade, St. Pancras (Channel Tunnel Rail Link), Jakarta LRT, West Midlands Metro, CRL Liverpool Street Station Enabling Works, Hunts Cross Four Tracking, Werrington Grade Separation, Skelmersdale Rail Link.
