Warren is a mechanical engineer who joined the IET as Operations Director in 2025. As a member of the IET, Warren strives to deliver member value and a high level of customer service efficiently across the operational delivery teams.
Prior to joining the IET, Warren spent over a decade at The Welding Institute (TWI), with the latter 5 years as an Executive Board Member responsible for Operations. His leadership experience spanned multiple departments from manufacturing to commercial contracts, and he successfully delivered efficiency gains through digital transformation and continuous improvement. He has led multimillion-pound research and capital investment programmes with a broad exposure to governance within a professional engineering institution.
He holds an MSc in Structural Integrity and a B.Eng. in Motorsport Engineering. Warren has held engineering roles at SBM Offshore in Monaco and SEAT in the automotive sector. Alongside his engineering career, he co-founded an event management company, delivering events and fundraising gala dinners across the globe for charitable foundations.
