About the session

The story of how electrical power is generated and transmitted to where it is needed is told through a vibrant presentation, including experiments, by a team from the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering of the University of Strathclyde. The lecture introduces the basic concepts of power engineering, taking concepts taught in the science classroom into the real and challenging world of electrical power engineering.
