Elaine Greig discussed how her company supported clients through managerial and technical consulting in securing offshore windfarms. She used a diagram of Scotland, using publicly available data, to show where the best sights for offshore windfarms would be. She demonstrated positives and negatives of a range of sites, including looking at depth or shallowness of water, appearance of sand or volcanic rock and near a port that can construct large vessels.
