This presentation reviews the British Electricity Trading and Transmission Arrangements (BETTA), which presents new challenges for established generation in Scotland. A number of commercial and technical issues remain to be addressed as a consequence of the extension of the England and Wales electricity market to encompass all of Great Britain.
