About the session

We review recent progress on hollow-core conjoined-tube negative-curvature fibres. One fibre with loss of 2 dB/km at 1512 nm and one with 3.8 dB/km loss at 680 nm is presented. The latter approaches the Rayleigh scattering loss limit of silica fibre at that wavelength.
