About the session

The 2015 Low Carbon Networks & Innovation Conference provided an opportunity to explore the learning from electricity and gas network innovation projects, the closure of key large scale projects and the final year of LCN funding. The conference also discussed how significant findings and learning from these projects will be transferred to business as usual.

The event took place at the state-of-the-art ACC Liverpool on 24-26 November and was co-hosted by SP Energy Networks. With over 1000 delegates from 23 different countries and over 70 exhibitors, the LCNI Conference was the UK's largest smart grid event for 2015.

    Development Director (COO) and co owner of Senical Ltd.During my 23 year career in the Royal Navy as an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer, I have travelled around the world, working on many Naval appointments with a broad range of people and cultures learning Engineering and Managerial skills.After leaving the Royal Navy I worked as a Project Manager for a National Identity card manufacturer, assisting with contract bids delivering new contracts to both local government agencies and international clients. maintaining the companies ISO9001 accreditation and Health and Safety. I was successful in gaining the companies’ accreditation to ISO14001. I currently hold the position of Development Director of Senical Ltd, a Smart Grid and Smart Energy product design company dealing with all commercial aspects of running a business, Project Managing the design and delivery of, selecting and managing the supply chain for, a new Smart Grid product to a Blue Chip company.
