About the session

OPPORTUNITIES AND BARRIERS FOR REDUCING ENERGY DEMAND WITH SMART BUILDINGS

Over two days attendees explored, debated and influenced how smarter buildings and systems can accelerate the transformation of energy use in buildings. We showcased the state-of-the-art of the present day and identify the strategic priorities for the next five years. The event maps out the research challenges for active consumer engagement, technology development and market deployment of these technologies. The outcomes will support future policy making, innovation funding and decisions relating to digital innovation in homes and workplaces.
