    Having joined the railway industry as part of the Thales Graduate Development Programme, Martin spent his formative years working on the high-profile Jubilee and Northern Line Upgrade Project, focusing particularly on system performance and reliability of the new moving-block signalling system.Building upon his technical knowledge of the system, Martin progressed into the role of Lead Systems Engineer on the 4 Lines Modernisation (4LM) project, managing a team of engineers to develop system interface requirements for the interoperable areas of the Sub-Surface Railway portion of London Underground.Martin now works as a Senior Systems Engineer for CPC Systems, a consultancy specialising in optimising capacity and performance of railways through application of innovative technical analysis and established industry best practice.
